Our Values

One Faith. One Family. One Future.

We are One Faith Church, a Baptist congregation rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. Our core values guide how we worship together on Sunday mornings, how we care for one another as family, and how we serve our Spring community. We believe in the power of faith to transform lives, the strength of Christian community, and the hope of God's kingdom advancing through our witness.

Value 01

Rooted in Scripture

We believe the Bible is the living word of God. It is not a book we admire from a distance, and it is not a collection of suggestions we work around when life gets complicated. It is the voice of a God who still speaks, and we shape our teaching, our counsel, and our shared life around what it says.

That conviction shows up in the most ordinary parts of our week. Sunday sermons at 10:00 walk through whole books of the Bible, not just the verses that are easy to preach. Leadership meetings open with Scripture before they open with strategy. Bible study groups read the same passages together and let them ask the hard questions we would rather skip.

We are not interested in being trendy. We are interested in being faithful, and that means staying anchored to a text that is older than every cultural mood and steadier than every season. When we get tired or confused, the Bible is where we go back to remember who God is and who we are.

Value 02

Rooted in Community

The church is not a building we attend. It is a family we belong to. The earliest believers were not described as people who went to a service once a week. They were described as people who shared meals, shared homes, shared burdens, and could not be understood apart from one another.

That picture still shapes us. Sundays at 10:00 are how we start the week together, but they are not the whole of the week. Most of our real life happens in living rooms throughout the week, where we read Scripture, pray for one another, and tell the truth about what is actually going on at home and at work.

Hospitality is not a program for us. It is a posture. We try to be the kind of church where the new person on a Sunday gets walked to coffee, where the family in a hard season gets meals without having to ask, and where nobody is left to do the Christian life alone.

Value 03

Rooted in Service

One Faith Church is called to serve. What we have received freely, we give freely, and that calling extends far beyond our walls. A church that only cares for itself has lost its purpose. Our community is our mission, and we are committed to meeting real needs wherever they exist.

For us that means showing up in the everyday places where people need help most. We serve at local outreach events in Spring, partner with community organizations to support families in crisis, and maintain a benevolence fund so members can help neighbors with rent, utilities, and medical bills with dignity and care. We believe in walking alongside those who are struggling, offering both practical help and the love of Christ.

None of this is about recognition, and that is exactly the point. We are not measuring success by impressive numbers. We are trying to be the kind of family that shows up with meals, willing hands, and genuine compassion when somebody nearby is having a difficult season. That is what faith looks like in action.

Lived out together

These values lived out together

Values are easier to write than to live. We need a family to do this with us. Join us on Sunday at 10:00, and see what One Faith. One Family. One Future. looks like when we gather together in Spring.
